Cheetos to open a dangerously cheesy pop-up restaurant

Attention anyone who thinks Cheetos really aren’t appreciated for the high-end delicacy they truly are: you’ve got some good news coming your way.

Cheetos is launching a two day pop-up restaurant in New York City called The Spotted Cheetah, and it will be run by none other than celebrity chef Anne Burrell.

The Spotted Cheetah will feature a three-course menu, beginning with starters like Purrfectly Fried Green Tomatoes and Cheetos Meatballs (yep), main course options including Flamin’Hot Limón Tacos and Cheetos Mix-ups Crusted Chicken Milanese, and, finally, Cheetos Sweetos Crusted Cheesecake or Cheetos Sweetos Sweet and Salty Cookies for dessert.

If all of that Cheeto fun is still not enough for you, or you’re unable to make it to the New York pop-up, don’t fret. The recipes of all the dishes will be available online in a free digital cookbook launching August 15, the same day the pop-up opens, so you can “recreate all the dishes for [your] friends and family at home.” Mmm.

“As a long-time Cheetos fan, I’m thrilled to join forces with a snack brand that is truly an iconic American staple,” Burrell said in a press release. “I had so much fun curating this specially crafted, one-of-a-kind menu for the first Cheetos restaurant — I can’t wait to see guests’ reactions!”

The Spotted Cheetah will only be around for three days and is a reservation-only experience.
